A 35-Year Legacy of Fighting for Families

When Results Matter, EXPERIENCE COUNTS

I’m League City divorce lawyer Rob Musemeche, the founder of Musemeche Law, P.C., and a seasoned family lawyer based in Houston. After graduating from the University of Texas – Austin in 1985, I earned my Doctor of Jurisprudence from the South Texas College of Law – Houston in 1988.

During law school, I had the honor of being part of the nationally acclaimed moot court team, where we won the National Championship in the American Bar Association’s National Appellate Advocacy (Moot Court) Competition in 1988.

I began my legal career under the mentorship of the distinguished Houston-River Oaks trial lawyer, Tom Alexander, focusing on family and civil trial law. Known for my assertiveness, intelligence, and courtroom skills, I’ve built a reputation as a formidable legal advocate. Throughout my career, I’ve been dedicated to trial law, and I pride myself on my creativity and solution-driven approach.

With over 35 years of experience in family and trial law, I’m widely recognized as an authority in my field. I’m honored to be board certified in both family law and as a trial lawyer—a rare distinction that sets me apart from many attorneys in the Houston-Galveston area.

In addition to my Texas credentials, I’m admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, an achievement requiring rigorous peer review and acceptance by the Court itself. I’m also actively involved in the legal community, serving on the Board of Directors of the Galveston County Bar Association and recently being elected as its next President starting in 2025. I’m also a member of the Houston Bar Association.

On a personal note, I enjoy sailing, deep-sea fishing, traveling, skiing, and college football—activities that reflect my Texan roots. I’m also proud to be a recurring cast member of “Night Court – Lawyers Entertaining for Charity,” an annual event that raises significant funds for local causes.

Why Specific Case Details Are Hard to Find:

Divorce and family law cases often involve sensitive details and privacy considerations. It’s common for attorneys not to disclose client identities or case specifics in public forums—especially when minors or personal family matters are involved. Unless cases have reached appellate levels with published opinions or have drawn public interest, they usually remain confidential.
